Sunday Mornings - 8:30 and 11:00 a.m.
Both Sunday worship services follow the liturgical pattern of the church where we:
Gather - We gather together as the people of God.
Word - We hear the word of God read and proclaimed.
Meal - We share the meal of Holy Communion together.
Sending - God sends us into the world to reflect God's love.
Our music is a mix of traditional hymns and some gospel music. The organ is the primary instrument supporting our singing, but the piano is often used. Our choir alternates singing between the two services.
The pastor offers a children's sermon at both services and there is a staffed nursery for young ones to play and interact, though we love having children in worship!
The Left Hand Band - 4th Sunday of the Month at 11:00 a.m.
At the 11:00 a.m. service on the 4th Sunday of the month, our liturgy is a bit different, the style tends to be a little more informal, and our music is led by our Left Hand Band which is a mixture of piano, guitars, vocals, and percussion.
Our Thursday evening service begins at 7:00 p.m. and is a shorter service of Holy Communion, prayers, and reflection on scripture. We call it our Pause For God service and it is a perfect service for people whose schedules are hectic or who could benefit from a shorter service (typically, services are about 30 minutes, except for the Lenten season which may last a little longer).
